SELECTED STUDY / 01

The edge house.

A house suspended between warm timber, concrete and the coast. An imagined residential study.

THE BRIEF

A home that protects its quiet interior while opening generously to the landscape.

THE RESPONSE

Long horizontal planes frame the sea. Timber warms the spaces under deep concrete overhangs, while planted terraces soften the edge.

OUTSIDE / INSIDE

The view is only
the beginning.

Deep overhangs frame the coastline. Inside, timber, books and a low line of seating make room for everyday life. Explore how the material palette carries through the Edge House.

OUR POINT OF VIEW

The building belongs
to the landscape.

We begin with the place: the line of the coast, the path of the sun, the way a room opens to the outdoors. From there, we work towards spaces that feel settled, useful and quietly their own.
