Before we begin.
Do you work with businesses worldwide?
Yes. Silk works remotely with businesses worldwide. We agree the scope, language, time-zone overlap and delivery milestones before work begins. International package prices are shown in GBP, with another invoice currency available by agreement.
How does the founding-client offer work?
The first 20 qualifying South African website clients can request our introductory rates. We confirm your business, the website scope and availability before issuing an invoice. Your place is confirmed only after the scope is accepted and the initial payment clears. Custom apps, integrations and international projects receive a separate proposal.
Can you build an app for my business?
We can scope custom browser-based apps, client portals, dashboards and workflow tools. A focused prototype is often a useful first step. Authentication, permissions, data storage, integrations, testing and maintenance are separate parts of the production scope. Native App Store applications require a separate feasibility review.
What are studio concepts?
Self-initiated design projects that show how we think and build. They do not need to be live to demonstrate the work. Commissioned client projects and pre-launch work are identified separately; interactive previews use sample information.
Do the app demonstrations save real data?
No. The portal, product and booking demonstrations use sample information and temporary page state. They do not create accounts, process payments, reserve appointments or connect to client systems.
Can you help after launch?
Yes. We can agree website care, application maintenance, content support or a defined improvement plan. The responsibilities and scope are set out in your proposal.
How do we get started?
Use the project planner or message Silk on WhatsApp. We clarify the outcome, required inputs and constraints, then prepare a written scope and proposal.
